Achei um óptimo concerto, incluindo a primeira parte. (É de louvar estes acts em que a 1a parte não é algo completamente desligado da banda principal que vai tocar.)

Este foi claramente um feel-good concert, o humor esteve bestial e gostei muito mais dos Magnetic em palco do que em disco. São simultaneamente uma excelente banda de comédia e uma das melhores bandas a materializar o conceito de canção. Curiosamente a figura que conhecia e que populava a minha imagem da banda era o Stephin Merritt mas neste concerto a front-person foi claramente a Claudia Gonson. Gostei muito da atitude dela em palco. Já o Stephin deixou-se relegar para a sua imagem, igualmente importante, de excêntrico.

Só me queixo do sono que tinha e de por isso me distrair em uma ou duas canções que não conhecia e eram mono tónicas demais.

Só tenho uma coisa a dizer, quem não viu, veja por favor.
No mínimo é um marco do cinema. Compreendo as frequentes comparações ao Trufaut, com os "400 Coups" mas senti-o como um filme bastante diferente. Reparei também que existe ali muita proximidade de um Porto(gal) que também é retratado (na versão southern da coisa) em filmes do mesmo ano, por exemplo "O Pátio das Cantigas".

Se gostei dele no Star Trek acho que gosto ainda mais dele como songwriter:

É estranho, mas serei eu o único que não sabia deste (novo? nem tanto) método contraceptivo. Implantes subcutâneos que libertam um fluxo constante de hormonas durante 2-3 anos. O resultado das hormonas: 99,9% de eficiência na contracepção, ausência de ovulação, possíveis dores de cabeça, indisposições, acne, peitos flácidos, e, por si só, ausência de protecção contra DSTs.

E a não esquecer: o estilo de poder mostrar um implante duro, comprido e metálico debaixo da pele. Assim poderá também ser uma nova moda de urban body art.

This is the arriving album from Sigur Rós, one of my all time favorite bands.
Early into my first auditions of the album (online at last.fm) I found so much positive energy, such a strength and I feel they again are reinventing a genre. This will at least be a very marking album. I just hope they will come soon to Portugal.

In a particularly personal side to this album experience I opted into a translation into Icelandic, that language of marvels:
