"The Rainbow River" (...of salty tears)
When I listen to her I have an extreme feeling of missing a distant past (it makes me wonder about reincarnation). I hadn't listened to so much sugar in a song since I discovered Nick Drake. These are the songs that are ripe and taste marvelously of a sunny, fruited flavor.

Quite some months ago I sat in a bar and heard of a dream shared by two nurses to visit Iceland extensively, a one month trip through the some of the worlds most beautiful natural wonders, they said. I thought, hey, Iceland must be different, fashion photographers have gone there for specific shoots and all. Ok, I expect it's a rough beauty with some desolate places, but I didn't fully understand the mote behind their shared dream. Now that I've seen Heima, from Sigur Rós, I more than understand their dream. I don't know if meanwhile those two nurses did their trip but I'm hatching my own dream of going there (not so unexpected, as recently, I've been attracted more and more to the lands of the farther North, specially after visiting Denmark).
Asside from dreaming we should see the reality, Iceland is only a few degreees from Portugal (temperature and latitude-wise). It even has it's own controversial dam story, their's is Alcoa, ours was Alqueva.

Let's see if we can make it on time before the ice melts...
