I take my breakfasts seriously. Languidly going through a bowl of fruits I sometimes take the time to enjoy a recorded show, zap some news or simply, and silently, enjoy the distant street noises of a fully grown morning.
Not so frequently, but probably when I'm most bored and less famished, I also tend to zap through some movie channels and grab a bite of some (usually ending) movie plot.

In the end, taking the time for my breakfast has proven to be quite fruitful, not only I get appropriate alimentary nourishment but also I come by some surprises.

Today I had an intense surprise that made me get up from my chair. Amidst a somewhat corny but still partly distinct love making story I suddenly started hearing a guy sing a Mark Kozelek song (I suspect it was Make Like Paper). I though "Hey, is this a version of a Kozelek song? Or is it really him? He's much thinner on TV... ". Yes, it really was him performing as Luther in the movie (Shopgirl). It was extremely unexpected. The plot, the other soundtrack elements, nothing led to him, but well, it led to my surprise! I went on to record the rest of the movie but he didn't appear anymore, neither did his songs.
